Cowie set for new flats as plans get council go-ahead
26 MayCowie looks set to get 16 new flats in the centre of the village, after plans were given the go-ahead by Stirling Council's planning panel.
The plans for the new two-bedroomed flats, to be built at a site north-west of 32 Main Street, were submitted by David McCormack, and given the go-ahead after the committee decided that the development was largely within a brownfield site, and would only cause a small encroachment into the countryside.
A condition of the plans being approved is that cash is to be paid towards play provision in the village, plus further conditions to be reported on a future weekly schedule.
