Call for investigation after road closure hits Cowie

Local officials are calling for an investigation as the aftermath of a crash caused chaos on roads around Cowie.

The B9124 Cowie Road at Bannockburn was closed in both directions for some time after a vehicle hit a railway bridge, causing considerable tailbacks on Wednesday 26th October.

At a meeting of the council’s executive on ward councillor Alasdair Macpherson complained about the lack of information from council officers following the incident, which he said had prompted several members of the public to contact him.
