Bridge over railway to be replaced

The plans for straightening out the railway bridge on the road from Cowie towards the Bannockburn bus depot are now available at

http://pabs.stirling.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=externalDocuments&keyVal=M0VO9EPIDX000 but with no indication of time scale. However, the electrification of the railway is due to happen in the next couple of years and this work is part of the programme. For more information on that, take a look at the Edinburgh Glasgow Improvement Plan (EGIP) website.
