An elbow-bending first for Cowie!
12 OctoberThirty-three years ago, Cowie took its place in Scottish history when it became the first place in Scotland to have a pub licensed to sell drinks on a Sunday.
The Cowie Tavern - managed at the time by Jim Maitland - was the first pub in the land to pick up the honour. These pics are courtesy of the Herald & Times archive.
